Sasando

Indonesia is rich in an amazing variety of local arts, which includes a variety of traditional instruments with particularity bunyiannya. One of the musical instrument that must be considered to be maintained is a stringed instrument from Rote Island, East Nusa Tenggara named Sasando, namely musical instruments found since the 15th century.

sasando2Sasando is a stringed musical instrument. Sasando form similar to other stringed instruments such as guitar, violin, and harp. But its uniqueness is the main part of the long tubular Sasando like harp is usually made of bamboo. Sasando media have sound reflector made of tree leaves gebang (a kind of palm trees that grow on the island of Timor and Rote Island) is bent into a half circle.

Sasando tubular length which is usually made of bamboo. Then in the middle, a circle from top to bottom are given a lump-lump, where the strings (strings) stretched across the tube from top to bottom rests. Wedge-wedge gives a different tone on every string passages. Then this Sasando tube placed in a container made from a kind of woven palm leaves like a fan made. This container is the place Sasando resonance.

History of Jim Morrison

James Douglas Morrison was born to George and Clara Morrison in Melbourne, Florida. A Marine officer, a George Morrisonwas that is forced to move his family to much, as Jim was a child and some say that fact led to Jim ‘; s unique method of talking out. After graduation from George Washington High School in Alexandria, Virginia was, Jim trained at some facilities, before it found its way to California, and UCLA continued. He began to study film, his true desire and was accidental in music. It was soon after that he met ray Manzarek on a Venice beach, which was already in a band that was called, Rick and the Ravens “.

Jim joined the already formed band and in the fall of 1965, the Raven ‘s listed on an album with 6 tracks, featuring “Moonlight Drive”, “Summer’s almost Gone” and “break on through”. Jim took to the streets of LA and was looking for a contract to all major LA recording studios. A few months later, heard the head of research at Columbia Records talent, Billy James, the album and signed the Raven ‘s to a six month contract. It was soon discovered that Robby Krieger joined the band and the foursome finished, which came when the doors known. ANGKLUNG

Since Angklung is an instrument or waditra art made from a special bamboo, which was discovered by Mr. Daeng Sutigna about 1938. When the initial use is still limited to the interests angklung local or traditional arts. Jimi Hendrix Biography

Guitarist, singer and songwriter. Born Johnny Allen Hendrix (later changed to James Marshall) 27 November 1942 in Seattle, Washington. Learning to play guitar as a teenager, Hendrix grew up to be a rock guitar legend. He had a difficult childhood and sometimes sometimes lived in the care of relatives and even acquaintances.

His mother, Lucille, was only 17 years old when Hendrix was born. She had a stormy relationship with his father, Al, and finally let the family after the couple had two children together, sons, Leon and Joseph. Hendrix would only see his mother from time to time before their death in 1958. In many ways music has been a sanctuary for Hendrix.

He was a fan of blues music and taught to play the guitar. At the age of 14, Hendrix saw Elvis Presley perform. He received his first electric guitar the following year and eventually played with two rock bands-d, the kings and the Tomcats. 1959 broke Hendrix High School. He worked odd jobs while continuing to follow his musical aspirations. Hendrix was in the United States Army in 1961 and trained at Fort Ord in California in order to become a paratrooper. Even as a soldier, he found time for music, the production of a band called the King Casuals. Hendrix served in the army until 1962, when he was unloaded from an injury. After leaving the military, Hendrix from practicing his music, worked as a session musician and support for such performers as little Richard, Sam Cooke and the Isley Brothers play.

50 Cent was born in Queens, New in the late ’70s. 50 Cent lost his father at an early age and was only raised by his mother, who was pushing drugs to make a living. His mother was found dead on the streets in an unsolved case. 50 Cent was taken under the wing of his grandparents. He was able to run the streets, stacking money and a list of raps songs along with it. 50 Cent pursued his rapping further, signing JMJ, the label of Run DMC DJ Jam Master Jay, after the birth of his son. With JMJ 50 learned the ropes in the industry, but the timing wasn’t right and he was abandoned.

In 1999 Columbia Records signed 50 Cent after the Trackmasters pulled 50 out of the crowd.
